6th Annual Day-Ohn-Day 5k Run and 1 Mile Run/Walk
May 22rd, 2010
at the River Parks
2010 was another fantastic success for the Day-Ohn-Day 5k Run and 1 Mile Fun Run with more than 325 runners. Congratulations to everyone who participated, especially the Chickasaw Nation Governor Bill Anoatubby who oversaw the registration of sixty-one tribal members, handily winning the second annual Chief's Challenge. The award was accepted by Scott Colbert, Chickasaw Nation Tribal Legislator.
Thank you to our sponsors Runner's World and the Tulsa Runner Club - for letting us be a part of their 2009 Race Series. Thanks also to our co-sponsors Whole Foods, Horizon Engineering, Osage Million Dollar Elm Casino, Flintco, Robin Ballenger, Panera Bread, Tulsa Riverparks Authority, Prairie Productions, Kiowa Casino, Travis Ring and Norm Gonzales. Special thanks also to the Tulsa Police Department and to Glen's Road Race Service for all their help. The Day-Ohn-Day 5k Run would not be possible without the time and energy of our volunteers and Tulsa Indian Club members. Thank you everyone!
