Membership and Volunteering

Tulsa Indian Club membership
The Tulsa Indian Club offers year round awareness and education of contemporary native culture, tradition and arts. TIC members coordinate, advise, manage and participate by volunteering and create cultural exchange through workshops with local companies, businesses and other organizations. Your membership helps promote awareness of current American Indian issues of the greater Tulsa and Northeast Oklahoma area.

Membership dues are $20 per year and renewed every February. Membership is open to EVERYONE interested in being a part of one of Tulsa's oldest Native American organizations and the historic Tulsa Powwow.

To apply for membership, simply download the membership application. Print out and complete the application, then mail it, along with your membership fee to:

Alternately, application and fees can be handled in person by attending the next TIC meeting. Meetings are held every fourth Wednesday, 6:30pm at the Central Library, 100 Civic Center, Plaza Room on the second floor. See the "About Us" page for maps and directions. Volunteering with the Tulsa Indian Club
TIC volunteers help with yearly events such as the Day Ohn Day 5k Run in May, the annual Tulsa Powwow in July, the Native Fall Music Fest in November and the Benefit Christmas powwow in December. All volunteers get free admission to the event with which they volunteer as well as en event t-shirt. Also, volunteers have the opportunity to participate in presentations and cultural exchange workshops with local companies, businesses and organizations throughout the year.
